Down City Blues

Apartment buildings, NYC
Apartment buildings, NYC

Over the last dark ages, tall buildings arose reaching their structural peaks in stride. A strategic must of the wealthy ambitious to cement themselves as estate kings.

Now that dream of restoration of life is seen resurrected in that impeccable vision toward that obtainable reality. Yet now we sit in the dust and ashes of innovation left to ponder the existence of a faded industrial age.

Many seek out worry while others embrace delight.

All is in the past, present, and…future?

The future is up to us to build indeed…But now

The crumbling lines of indifference remain marinating in conflict. Divisive discourse now simmers in irreconcilable tones. So are the times we have come to know. As all things come to an end, more souls weep, or so it seems.©
